As clinical wards become ever more sophisticated and specialised, they need increasingly complex technology and equipment. For example, the number of minimally invasive operations is increasing constantly and so also therefore is the demand for medical technology and clinical equipment which meets these complex requirements. A trend towards specialisation can also be seen in other sectors; however specialisation in this case does not exclude other disciplines: one of the keywords in current developments in surgery is ‘hybrid’. Hybrid surgery makes it possible to respond effectively to the needs of high-risk patients on an interdisciplinary basis; the necessary surgery can be provided without long waits.
This field demands absolute flexibility from IMKO and close partnership with suppliers and manufacturers. That is why IMKO is seeking to offer as broad as possible an interface for all clinical fields. On the basis of the individual requirements in each case, IMKO can then work with the customer to find the right components and solutions in the best possible combination.
